Mountain system located partially on the territory of Russia (Altai Autonomy), and also in Kazakhstan,
Mongolia and China. The highest point of Altai - Belukha (4506 m) is also the highest mountain of Siberia.
Remote location, absence of the big industrial centers, comparably low tourist activity, difficulty of
getting in the area and the enormous space of the territory in its primeval conditions make it possible
for Altai to keep cleanliness and virginity - what the modern civilized people call a wild nature.
This is a magic mountains. The snow-white pearl among the boundless sea of a taiga, fairy Belukha is not
just a mountain, object for climbing. This is alive beating heart of Altai, the place of extreme power.
About mysticism of Belukha and its spiritual importance famous Russian philosopher, writer and artist
N. Rerih spoke and wrote much. The followers of his doctrines until now actively attend these places,
organize pilgrimage to the foot of Belukha, which they worship.
