Armenia. Interesting original friendly country with dry and warm high mountain climate, plenty of fruits, vineyards, most interesting natural and historical objects - crazy possibilities for sightseeing. The rocks, ideal for rockclimbing are everywhere - even in Armenian Capital - Erevan you can get lot of pleasure climbing smooth basalt faces. The bolted rockclimbing routes in Armenia are not really numerous - this sport here is very young, but the potential is high as all the conditions are present: good climate, many various rock formations with convenient approaches, hospitable and extremely friendly local people.

We invite everyone who is interested in rockclimbing to take part in our 9 days rockclimbing program in Armenia. Your level of experience is not very important: basically we developed this program for beginners, but if you are experienced climber you will not be disappointed - in Ekhegnadzor - the region we have chosen for our Armenia rockclimbing program there are many interesting rockclimbing routes of various categories - form easy (5b-5c) to quite difficult (7b-7c).

Planning the trip, we take as basis our standard rockclimbing 9 days variant which allows us to combine climbing with sightseeing and recreations. We do not bound ourselves to just climbing rocks - for us it is more than sport - it is our way of life - active, bright and full of adventures!

The First Law of AlexClimb
The first rule, by which we are guided in developing of the program - it is Safety. Professional Guides lead the group, we use only the high quality certificated equipment. All that guarantees the highest possible level of your Safety, and it is the most important part of our work.

The AlexClimb Armenia Rockclimbing schedule:

Day 1 - International flight to Erevan, transfer to Areni village, Guest house accommodation, dinner. Day 2 - Breakfast, rockclimbing in Noravank Gorge, sightseeing walk to the ancient Noravank monastery, dinner Day 3 - Breakfast, rockclimbing in Djokhki Dzor, dinner. Day 4 - Breakfast, rockclimbing on Kvadras, dinner. Day 5 - Breakfast, rockclimbing in The Cave, transfer to Erevan, Guest house accommodation, dinner. Day 6 - Breakfast, sightseeing in Garni Temple and Gueghard monastery, return to Erevan, dinner. Day 7 - Breakfast, transfer to the beginning of Aragatz route, Mountain hut accommodation, dinner. Day 8 - Breakfast, Summit Day. walking to the top of the highest mountain of Armenia - Aragatz (4050 m), descent to the Hut, transfer to Erevan, Guest house accommodation, dinner. Day 9 - Return International flight.

You have to be ready for:

The cost of the program from: 1100$

Conditions: minimum 4 participants, the brief "AlexClimb Rockclimbing Course" is recommended before the trip
The cost includes: Professional English speaking rockclimbing Guide services, all transfers, accommodation (Hotel** in Yerevan, Guest House in Areni village, mountain shelter in Aragatz), two times meals while been outdoors, sightseeing excursions with English speaking guide according to the program, rent of the communal climbing equipment (ropes, belaying gear).
The cost does not include: Armenian visa charges and airport taxes, International flight expenses to and from Yerevan, climbing insurance, rent of the personal equipment, restaurant meals in Yerevan, extra food and drinks.
