FAQ
What is Mountain Trekking?
Trekking is a kind of outdoor activity, walking by a trail on some not tough and not very long route. Consequently, the trekking programs
we offer to you in this category, are not mountaineering nor climbing mountains although they are spent in the mountains.
For our trekking programs we choose the most beautiful mountain locations where you can get perfect acclimatization, get the most fascinating views
of the mountains and surely get an exciting walk without spending much time nor money! Maximum altitude in our trekking programs seldom rise higher
than the alpine grass zone (2500-3000 m in moderate latitudes and 4500-5000 close to Equator), your stay at the top altitude is minimized.
All the Mountain Trekking programs offered by AlexClimb Mountain School, are based on the principle of your most commodity -
the heavy loads are carried by horses (mules or donkeys), the groups are led by professional Mountain Guides. Normal hot food is prepared by
experienced cook.
For participation in the AlexClimb programs of Mountain Trekking category there are no age restrictions nor necessity of
previous training.
