Of the all brightest and most interesting tourist sites in the central South America two sites should bedistinguished in particular. The first - a valuable monument of pre-Columbian era Machu Picchu - located high in the inaccessible mountains of Peru ruins of an ancient Inca town, perfectly preserved and still concealing numerous unexplained mysteries. And the second - the pearl of the Bolivian highlands - salt relic lake Uyuni - gigantic space covered with perfectly flat and smooth layer of salt, the unique place of the beauty of the landscape and diversity of natural anomalies - the main Bolivian attraction and place of pilgrimage for a large number of tourists from all over the world. Since both of these world-class attractions are located relatively close to each other, though in different countries, it would be quite logical decision not to waste time, and in the one program see with your own eyes these unique objects. In order to combine a visit to the ruins of Machu Picchu, spend some time in Cusco and interesting surroundings of this ancient city, fly to La Paz and take part in a jeep expedition to the Solar de Uyuni and the Valley of Geysers - all this will require a little less than two weeks - agree that in such a compact time frame it is difficult to imagine a more intensive program.
This route is extremely entertaining tour, with no claims to any sporting achievements. However, because of the extreme compactness in time and considerable altitude, at which are located the objects of the program (the highest point of the route is located at an altitude of about 5000 meters - Valley of Geysers), this program can be considered as preparatory and acclimatization. According to this, to that program can be easily be added one of the climbing programs in the region of the Bolivian capital La Paz - for example, climbing Huayna Potosi, climbing Illimani or climbing Head of Condor. For this expansion of the program we will need only 3-5 extra days!
This 12-days program "MCS AlexClimb tour in South America - Peru - Bolivia" was developed for people who have no experience of being in the mountains or mountain climbing. The program is an exciting recreational travel which does not require from the participants to possess any special skills and physical conditions. In the programs of this category short (one-day) trekking and mountain climbing routes can be included.

Day 1 - Arrive to Lima (Peru), city tour, free time, hotel accommodation***
Day 2 - Morning flight to Cuzco, city tour, free time, hotel accommodation***
Day 3 - Transfer by Machu Picchu train to Aguas Calientes, hotel accommodation***
Day 4 - Sightseeing tour to the ancient Inca city Machu Picchu. For the most active people - scrambling to the top of Wayna Picchu ("The Young Mountain" – the cliff above the Machu Picchu, where the ancient Inca observatory is located, the ascent is comparably steep and tough). Return by bus to Cuzco. Hotel accommodation***.
Day 5 - Flight to La Paz (Bolivia), city tour, hotel accommodation***.
Day 6 - Transfer (flight) from La Paz to Uyuni, hotel accommodation
Day 7 - Transfer from Uyuuni to the San Juan island by the surface of the Uyuni salt lake, with visiting the ancient cemetery of steam locomotives, accommodation in a hostel on the lake - in the houses made of salt blocks.
Day 8 - Transfer to Laguna Colorada with visiting several colorful alpine lakes inhabited by the colonies of flamingos. Visiting the Fauna Andina National Park. Overnight in the hostel.
Day 9 - Early in the morning at sunrise visiting the Valley of Geysers, continuing the way along the border with Chile by the high-mountain desert, famous by its surreal landscapes, overnight in the hostel.
Day 10 - Return to Uyuni, overnight in the hotel
Day 11 - Fly to La Paz, accommodation, city tour
Day 12 - Return to Lima

- Camping life in the field conditions;

And from the return - all troubles and accidents in our sport come from nonprofessionalism, from ignorance or neglect by elementary standards of safety, from irrational motivation, from revaluation of own forces and opportunities. All these prerequisites we COMPLETELY EXCLUDE in our work - ours Rock-climbing, Ice climbing and Mountaineering are based on one Principle - the Safety Priority. In rock-climbing, mountaineering and ice climbing, the Priority of Safety of MCS AlexClimb-is your personal security and comfort irrespective of, than we are engaged - we train muscles and we work technology of the movement in the sports hall and on the rock climbing wall, we make the way through snowstorm to top or we relax on golden sand of the Caribbean beach after hot day of trainings on rocks. AlexClimb Rule #2 - Leave No Trace
Closely interacting with Nature, working with the active programs in mountains, woods, lakes and rivers, we perfectly understand the importance of carefull and respectfull bahavior towards the Nature, for its resources. From the very beginning of our outdoor-activity we adopted rules of Leave No Trace technique - the standard of behavior of the person accepted in all the civilized world in relation to environment and especially - to the wild nature. After all on the relation of people to the nature near which they exist, itself can draw dalekoidushchy conclusions on the relation of these people to... Where and as we didn't travel - we don't reserve any garbage, we try to reduce whenever possible our influence on environment to a minimum. We clear earlier zagryazyonny tourist parking of the left garbage, we take out and we take out to utilization places that to us other people left there. We consider that only thus, at personal individual consciousness of each citizen, each tourist, climber or autotraveller, we will be able to keep the nature surrounding us in its state, natural, suitable for life, - in it pledge of the healthy future for ourselves and our children.
